This is absolutely the best bakery we have found in the Salem area. In fact, they supply some of the best cakes found in Salem. we went in looking for wedding cake and were given fullsize free samples of the cakes they had available. Their cakes are delicious, they are friendly and very helpful.

The Lovin’ Oven has been in business for 28 years. Originally The Lovin’ Oven started in the kitchen of Doreen Hellemn. As a baker & professional cake decorator for more than 30 years, she decided to go into business for herself. In 1982 she began a wholesale bakery to supply gourmet cakes, cheesecakes & pastries to fine restaurants in the Salem area. In 1993 The Lovin’ Oven was sold to Doreen’s baker Valerie Schultz & her husband Mike.
We continue to supply the demand for our quality wholesale products, and now are offering the same quality products at our retail location in downtown Stayton.
